pretty relaxing dae at work today! WHY? cos she left work at 3!!!OMG! me and fang were like crying out in joy..yes dats how overjoyed we were. hey! its fair alrite with all e hard daaes work we had put in the past few weeks. had lunchie with the crappy bunch at engin's Mac today...oh man really love my this bunch of new found frens! aifen the all fun-loving babe. jieying the out-of-e-blue crappy gal. ben e hungry ghost and last of all my dear huifang the full-time stoner. they juz brigten up my dae! we were discussing bout the pot luck for all the grad students and of course prof leong. me and aifen were like all on the go..had a list of food that we wanna prep already!(okie kel dear if u r reading this..dun go''ya rite u r cooking..im sure..'') fried rice,spaghetti,choc fondue etc..going to start emailing the invitations by weekend! so cant wait for the gathering!

was reading the newpapers today.."S'pore's elusive identity quest" that caught my attention. The article was tackling with the question of young singaporeans drifting and losing their singaporean identity. well it kinda triggered to me..hmmm if i was ever approached and questioned "so what is spore?" Do i even noe wad is the singaporean identity?wad is so unique about singapore other than its rojak array of cultures and the infamous merlion? Singapore globalised as it seems have neglected this vital issue...grasping its identity especially amongst the young ones. pondered for awhile through the article and realised im juz like a lost child...ignorant of her..e land i call home. nope definitely not 'singlish ways' nor the merlion im going to define her! well wad landmarks or songs that is so unique to singapore? national education all these years have failed in leading me to my roots! argh! ashamed i am..
